14 හැවිරිදි පාසල් සිසුවියක් මරුට
විදුලි සැර වැදී මියගිය බව කියන 14 හැවිරිදි පාසල් සිසුවියක් පිළිබඳව හසලක, තෝරපිටිය ප්‍රදේශයෙන් වාර්තා වෙයි.
ඊයේ 2025/ජනවාරි /03 සවස එම සිදුවීම වාර්තා වූ බව වාර්තකරු පැවසීය.
එලෙස මියගොස් ඇත්තේ, හසලක තෝරපිටිය ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචිව සිටි මෙත්මි සිතුම් කුමාරි නැමැති පාසල් ශිෂ්‍යාවකි.
ඇය හසලක ප්‍රදේශයේ පාසලක 09 ශ්‍රේණිය ඉගෙනුම ලබන සිසුවියකි.
ඇය මවගෙන් දුරකථනය ඉල්ලාගෙන ඇගේ කාමරයට ගොස් ඇති අතර ඊට සුළු මොහොතකට පසු ඇගේ කාමරයෙන් කෑගසන හඬක් ඇසී තිබේ.
එම හඬ ඇසුණු ඇගේ මව සහ පියාත්, වැඩිමහල් සහෝදරියත් කාමරයට ගොස් බලන විට ඇය නිදාගන්නා යකඩ ඇඳ අල්ලාගෙන කෑ ගසමින් සිටිනු දැක ඇත.
පසුව මරණකාරියගේ සීයා ඇඳ ළඟ තිබූ විදුලි සම්බන්ධතාව විසන්ධිකර තිබේ.
ඉන්පසු ඇය හසලක රෝහලට රැගෙන ගොස් ඇති අතර එහිදී මහියංගන රෝහල වෙත මාරුකර යවා තිබුණි.
පුසුව ඇය මහියංගන රෝහලේදී මියගොස් ඇත.
සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් වැඩිදුර පරීක්ෂණ හසලක පොලීසිය විසින් සිදුකරයි.

A 14-year-old schoolgirl who was allegedly electrocuted to death is reported from Thorapitiya, Hasalaka.
The incident was reported yesterday evening, 2025/January/03, the reporter said.
The deceased is a schoolgirl named Methmi Sithum Kumari, a resident of Thorapitiya, Hasalaka.
She is a student studying in grade 09 at a school in Hasalaka.
She had asked her mother for the phone and went to her room a few moments later, a scream was heard from her room.
Hearing the sound, her mother, father and elder sister went to the room and saw her screaming while holding the iron bed she was sleeping on.
Later, the deceased's grandfather disconnected the electricity connection near the bed.
She was then taken to Hasalaka Hospital and was transferred to Mahiyangana Hospital.
She later died at Mahiyangana Hospital.
Hasalaka Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
