පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව සහ ත්‍රස්ත මර්දන හා විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය මගින් සිදුකරන ලද විමර්ශනයන් අනුව සැකකරුවන් 747ක් මේ දක්වා අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇති බව මහජන ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍ය ආනන්ද විජේපාල මහතා පවසයි.

අද (07) පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී අදහස් දක්වමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා පැවසුවේ සැකකරුවන් සහ සැකකාරියන් 100කට මහාධිකරණයේ නඩු 14ක නීතිපතිවරයා විසින් අධි චෝදනා ගොනු කර ඇති බවය.

මෙන්ම මේ සම්බන්ධව තවදුරටත් පරීක්ෂණ සිදුකරමින් පවතින බවත් අමාත්‍යවරයා පැවසීය.

තවද පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් චැනල් ෆෝ නාලිකාව තුළින් අනාවරණය වූ කරුණු ද ඊට පරිබාහිරව විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වූ කරුණු ද පදනම් කරගනිමින් තවදුරටත් මෙම ප්‍රහාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් විමර්ශන කටයුතු සිදුකරමින් පවතිනු බවත් අමාත්‍යවරයා අද පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී පැවසීය.

අමාත්‍යවරයා පැවසුවේ ඒ තුළින් අනාවරණය වූ කරුණු මත ඉදිරි නෛතික කටයුතු සිදු කිරීමට නියමිත බවය.

එමෙන්ම වර්ථමාන රජය බලයට පත්වූ පසුව මෙම විමර්ශන නව අදියරකින් ආරම්භ වී ඇති බවත් ඒ අනුව පසුගිය නොවැම්බර් 11 වැනි දින කොළඹ මහෙස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය වෙත කරුණු වාර්තා කර විමර්ශන කටයුතු සිදුකරමින් පවතින බවත් අමාත්‍යවරයා පැවසීය.

ඒ අනුව මේ දක්වා සිදුකරනු ලැබූ විමර්ශන අනුව සිවිල් සාක්ෂිකරුවන් 12 දෙනෙකුද, හමුදා සාමාජිකින් 7 දෙනෙකු, පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් 24ක් සහ බන්ධනාගාරගත නිලධාරීන් 3 දෙනෙකු ඇතුළුව 48 දෙනෙකුගෙන් මේ වන විට ප්‍රකාශ සටහන් කරගනිමින් වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන කටයුතු සිදුකරමින් පවතින බවත් අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දක්වමින් පැවසීය.

A revelation about the suspects involved in the Easter attacks

Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala says that 747 suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the Easter attacks as a result of investigations conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department and the Counter-Terrorism and Investigation Division.

Speaking in Parliament today (07), the Minister said that the Attorney General has filed indictments against 100 suspects in 14 High Court cases.

The Minister also said that further investigations are being conducted in this regard.

The Minister also stated that after the current government came to power, these investigations have begun in a new phase and accordingly, the facts were reported to the Colombo Magistrate's Court on November 11th and investigations are being conducted.

Accordingly, according to the investigations conducted so far, statements have been recorded from 48 people, including 12 civilian witnesses, 7 military members, 24 police officers and 3 prison officers, and further investigations are being conducted, the Minister further stated.
